In the vinyl industry, inventory is never static. With new releases dropping weekly and limited pressings selling out in minutes, a manual marketing approach simply cannot keep up with the pace of the product. To drive consistent revenue and capitalize on high-demand drops, we engineered a fully automated, omnichannel ecosystem using Klaviyo to synchronize our messaging across email, SMS, and social platforms.

The core strategy relied on dynamic data and behavioral triggers. By deeply integrating our Shopify architecture with Klaviyo, we built intelligent flows that reacted instantly to real-time customer actions and fluctuating stock levels. We abandoned generic batch campaigns in favor of granular segmentation. This allowed us to deliver highly personalized product recommendations based directly on past purchase history, genre preferences, and browsing behavior.

When a highly anticipated record dropped, the entire digital ecosystem fired in unison. High-intent VIP segments received priority access via SMS to drive immediate conversions. Broader audience segments received dynamic email campaigns featuring live inventory blocks to create authentic urgency. Simultaneously, we synced our Klaviyo customer lists directly to our social advertising channels. This ensured our paid retargeting ads completely aligned with the exact messaging landing in our customers' inboxes. This cohesive orchestration turned unpredictable weekly stock changes into a reliable, scalable revenue engine.
